Today's officially the last day of Summer! Perfect timing to pay tribute with my latest oil painting, "Summer Pedals". This bike reminds me of the one my sister rode as a pre-teen, which was then passed down to me for many additional miles of transportation and fun around my beautiful hometown. Fond memories:)
Please enjoy!
All Love,
Juliane
What color was your first/favorite childhood bicycle?
Did you live in a town where you were able to independently ride your bike anywhere you wanted to go?
If you liked this post say thanks by sharing.
My first bicycle was green and in our small town in Maine we could ride pretty much anywhere - and did. :)
Lovely piece of art!

Thank you, Maureen,
I really appreciate your kind compliment.
Those were the days weren't they! I feel so lucky to have grown up in such a vibrant, safe town with so many kids, sidewalks, beaches, parks etc.
Growing up in Maine must have been so lovely! My husband and I absolutely love Maine -and New England in general as you can tell:)
All the best to you!
Much Love,
Juliane
